Certificate of Merit Program

This program is for High Schools in the Dallas area/Region 10 to honor young women in grades 9-12 who have completed three years each of science and mathematics with distinction. Nominated students also should be active citizens in their school and community. Each school is permitted to nominate four deserving female students for Certificate of Merit Awards: two for "Honor," one for "High Honor," and one for "Highest Honor." Since these awards are to honor students who excel at both math and science, please coordinate your selections between the math and science departments at your school. Please designate the field of excellence (example: Math, Science, Science Fair, etc). Up to four nominees from each school will receive a certificate. To ensure prompt delivery of the Certificates, please submit your nominations as soon as possible and verify that the students' names are spelled correctly. Please submit the Certificate of Merit form by May 2nd or a minimum of one week prior to the awards ceremony date.
