The Dallas SWE January 2026 Honorary Member of the Month is Lt. Colonel Arminta J. Harness, a life member of SWE who was an extraordinary engineer, military officer and SWE advocate. Some of her many accomplishments include being the first woman engineer in the U.S.A.F, retiring as a Lt Colonel in 1974, holding the roles of SWE LA Section President and SWE President, and receiving both the SWE Fellow Member Grade and Distinguished Service Award.
