Event Recap: Dallas SWE Work–Life Integration Panel with BioLabs

Dallas SWE hosted an engaging and impactful panel discussion focused on Work–Life Integration: Strategies for Success, bringing together founders and STEM leaders to share candid insights on navigating career growth, balance, and resilience.

The evening featured an inspiring lineup of panelists — Maggie Wang, Rose Pedretti, and Supriya Sinha, PhD — who spoke openly about their professional journeys, the realities of building careers in STEM, and the evolving definition of success. Through personal stories and practical reflections, the panel emphasized that work–life integration is not a one-size-fits-all solution, but an ongoing process shaped by priorities, life stages, and intentional choices.

The discussion was thoughtfully moderated by Gabby Everett, whose facilitation encouraged meaningful dialogue and active audience participation. Her ability to guide authentic conversation created a welcoming space for learning, reflection, and connection.

We were grateful to BioLabs Pegasus Park – North Texas for hosting the event and providing a collaborative environment that supported both networking and open discussion.

Beyond the panel itself, the event highlighted the strength of community within Dallas SWE. Attendees connected across industries, exchanged perspectives, and left with renewed motivation to support one another’s professional and personal growth. Special thanks to James Raynard Casida Dizon for capturing photos throughout the evening and helping us document these moments.

Dallas SWE is proud to continue creating spaces where women in STEM can come together to learn, lead, and uplift one another. We look forward to building on this momentum through future professional development programming and community-driven conversations.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this November event a success.
