Officers

President – Cyonna Holmes

Cyonna earned her B.S. in Bioengineering from Stanford University and her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from UT Southwestern Medical Center where her dissertation focused on the delivery of metabolites and RNA therapeutics during heart transplantations.

She is currently the Director of Strategic Initiatives at McKesson where she is responsible for identifying, developing, and evaluating new opportunities for the Oncology and Multispecialty Division. Prior to this role, she was the Global Business Strategy Leader for Ophthalmology, Rare Diseases and RNA Therapeutics at Celanese, where she led cross‑functional teams advancing long‑acting therapeutics for patients with chronic diseases. She has spent her entire career in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry, where she has led and overseen research, strategy, marketing, and sales functions.

Cyonna is passionate about empowering the next-generation of leaders and diversifying STEM fields. Cyonna has been actively involved in SWE since 2011. She served as High School Outreach Chair in her Collegiate Section at Stanford. In Dallas SWE she has held various leadership roles including President Elect (FY25), VP of Outreach (FY23 and FY24), and Design Your World Committee Member and Activity Lead (FY22). She also serves as a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters, the SMU Engineering Mentorship Program, and the UTSW PhD to Industry Program. She has also been a mentor for Girls Inc and the Perot Museum ConnecTeen Program. In her free time, she loves pottery throwing, volunteering, running, and baking.

Vice President of Professional Development – Anmolika Singh

Anmolika Singh holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Data Sciences from The Pennsylvania State University. She currently serves as a Data Scientist at Stanley Black & Decker’s Tools & Outdoor Business Unit in Plano, TX, where she previously participated in the Stanley Leadership Program. Throughout her career, Anmolika has led impactful projects that showcase her ability to extract meaningful insights from complex data to support strategic decision-making and process optimization. Known for her adaptability and commitment to continuous learning, Anmolika thrives in the fast-evolving landscape of data science. Beyond her technical work, she is a dedicated advocate for women in STEM, actively contributing to the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Dallas Section since 2023.

Vice President of Outreach – Lyndsey Bouvé

Lyndsey earned her BS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Arkansas (Fayetteville, AR) and MS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (Memphis, TN). She moved to Texas in December 2023 and is currently a Product Development Engineer at Retractable Technologies, Inc. 

She has been a member of SWE since college but got involved with the Dallas chapter at the start of 2024 by attending outreach events. Since joining, she has been a part of the Outreach committee and served as an activity lead at Design Your World 2025. Lyndsey is a firm believer that empowered women empower women and is passionate about doing just that by educating young women about how they can pursue careers in STEM. Her favorite part of SWE is the sense of community and getting to see students excited to learn about STEM at Outreach events.

In her free time Lyndsey enjoys reading, trying new recipes, sewing, and going to coffee shops.

Vice President of Membership – Ella Deane

Ella joined the Society of Women Engineers in January 2024, looking to connect with other women in STEM and help the local community. She graduated with both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering in four years. She acquired both degrees from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in central Massachusetts. Ella currently works in the medical device industry and got a job as a Manufacturing Engineer at Inogen in Plano. She is thrilled to be supporting the production of portable oxygen concentrators that help deliver oxygen in a convenient way to patients who need it. Outside of work, she enjoys playing basketball, going to music festivals, and tending to her many houseplants.

Ella is passionate about empowering early in career women in STEM and fostering environments where women can be their authentic selves. She has planned several “Girl Power Happy Hour” events – casual post-work meetups at spots throughout DFW for early in career women in STEM to make new friends and connect beyond their job titles. Ella has enjoyed every event she’s been to through SWE, and has made great connections through the group. Her favorite part is hearing the unique stories of women from all backgrounds finding their way in their STEM careers. She hopes to see you at the next SWE event!

Treasurer – Claire Jordan

Claire Jordan is a supervisor onboarding owner at Texas Instruments (TI), where she also leads the company’s Disability Resource Group. She holds both a BSE and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University. Claire began her career at TI as an equipment engineer and later served as a process engineer and technician supervisor before transitioning into onboarding and training roles.

Claire has been actively involved in SWE since 2015. Her leadership includes serving as Treasurer and Vice President at Arizona State University, Vice President of Membership for the Dallas SWE section, and Chair of the Society Bylaws Committee for FY24 and FY25. She currently serves as the FY26 Content Strategy Directorate Chair-Elect. Her roles across the section and Society levels have given her valuable insight into SWE’s governance and member engagement strategies. She has spoken at WE Local and annual conferences and is deeply committed to making SWE more inclusive and sustainable.

Secretary – Sammy Zellner

Sammy Zellner is a Process Engineer at Texas Instruments in Dallas, TX. She graduated the University of North Texas (UNT) with her B. S. and M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering. Sammy has actively been involved in SWE since 2014, and she served as the UNT Section President from FY17-18. She was also a FY17 SWE Future Leader for Region C. Currently, Sammy is serving her sixth term as the Dallas SWE Secretary. Sammy’s favorite part of SWE is the sense of community and leadership opportunities that the organization provides. In her free time, Sammy loves watching HBOMax and working on her blog.

Fundraising Committee Chair – Jessica Galarza

Jessica is an accomplished technology leader specializing in program and project management. She earned her B.S. in Computer and Electrical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico. Her career has been dedicated to leading technology initiatives involving Software Development, IT infrastructure, SaaS platform implementations, and Process Optimization. She has extensive experience across various roles, including development engineer, project manager, and technical program manager.

Jessica is passionate about transforming challenges into achievements and strongly believes in leading by example. Her leadership philosophy is centered on: cultivating a culture based on teamwork, trust, communication, and growth; encouraging and motivating others to succeed; and always leading with kindness. When not working on projects or supporting clients, Jessica enjoys running, exercising, or cheering for her children at their sporting events.

Investment Committee

This team provides historical perspective and guidance on Dallas SWE’s financial investment accounts, primarily to ensure funding for scholarships. Terms for each member run for 3 years.

Liong So

Since 1999, Liong has worked with Public Works Department of the City of Dallas, serving as a Senior Project Manager, with responsibility for managing various infrastructure projects under the Capital Project Improvement. Her responsibilities include ensuring that her projects are completed on schedule and within budget, meet their objectives while maintaining appropriate levels of quality, and are acceptable to all stakeholders. Term expires 6/30/27.


Rana Karimi

Rana Karimi is a Business Development leader at ProcureAbility, a professional services firm focused on supply chain and procurement. In her role, she partners with supply chain organizations to elevate their strategic impact and drive greater value across the enterprise. Prior to her role in professional services, she was an engineer and worked in multiple industries as a project manager and product manufacturing engineer. Rana is deeply passionate about empowering women in technical careers and advocating for themselves. She has served Dallas SWE’s Executive Council as VP of Outreach (FY22), VP of Membership (FY21, FY20), Secretary (FY19), and Webmaster (FY19). She has a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. Term expires 6/30/27.


Katia Gomez

Katia I. Gomez received her Bachelors of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA). She is currently employed as project manager for the City of Richardson’s Capital Projects & Engineering department.  Ms. Gomez joined the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Fall 2010 as a collegiate. Since then, she has served in various committees at the local and national level. Her philanthropic passion extends beyond SWE. She volunteers w/ Make- A- Wish Foundation, Irma Lerma Rangel Young Women’s Leadership School and Future City Competition North Texas Region. Term expires 6/30/2028.


Terriekka Cardenas

Terriekka Cardenas is the President and CEO of Perceptive Engineering and Construction Services (PECS, LLC) in Dallas, TX, where she consults, trains and manages projects for multiple disciplines and possesses expertise in a several areas within the Industrial Manufacturing and Construction sector. She holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tulsa and is  a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt who has worked in the manufacturing industry for over 15 years in varied capacities and department leadership roles. She is a proven influencer, leader and analytical problem solver.  Terriekka is a huge STEM/STEAM career advocate and she spends her time heavily involved in outreach in the local community and abroad working with organizations developing STEM and Workforce Programs to bridge the gap present in those underrepresented in multiple industries such as Engineering, Aviation & Aerospace, and Computer Science, to name a few. She is currently the Executive Director of Persistence Development Foundation and serves on the board of directors for CodeStream Studios, SimiDigi, Inc. and Tranzmt, Inc. Term expires 6/30/2026.
