Membership Appreciation Event – June 27th

It’s the end of our Fiscal Year and we can do nothing better than celebrate our amazing members that make our section so great! We will be recognizing our outstanding Dallas SWE Members with awards, thanking our outgoing officers, and recognizing individuals for their many accomplishments for Dallas SWE. A fun program has been planned full of door prizes, fabulous socializing, and more! Come for a great time full of celebration of our wonderful Dallas SWE Members! Coffee Chat with Dallas SWE

Grab a cup of your favorite afternoon beverage and join Dallas SWE Presidents Zaineb Ahmad, FY19-20, and Amanda Alsbrook, FY21, as we discuss the benefits and value of SWE membership. Dallas SWE’s Statement on Diversity and Inclusion

June Member of the Month: Trina Sriram

Congratulations to Trina Sriram, Dallas SWE’s June 2020 Member of the Month! Trina Sriram, a recent graduate of Southern Methodist University, studied Electrical Engineering and Spanish. She is a part of Accenture’s Technology Development Program, where she currently is a product management analyst and Accenture Development Partnerships strategist.

Trina was an active member at Southern Methodist University section, participating in She Networks She Wins, WE local and various networking events. Upon graduating, Trina jumped into the SWE network here and is a member of the Membership Committee where she helped organize the Senior Graduation Celebration for Class of 2020 graduates and renew the SWE Book Club.

She is passionate about bringing our SWE community together – everyone from high school SWEsters to our professional members to support and continue building a diverse and robust community that reflects upon our SWE values.

After feeling a little lost both professionally and personally, reaching out to the Dallas SWE has given me a connection to numerous mentors and friendships.
