To give a kick start to 2020, our devoted Dallas SWE members braved the snow and ice to gather at True Food kitchen on January 11th. Sixteen amazing women donned heavy jackets and scarves as they made their way carefully to Preston Plaza to meet up and participate in this month’s social gathering. We had an amazing host that had our table ready when we got there. It was exciting to see some new faces.
The day didn’t go without a surprise, as our own Haley Barnes was recognized by SWE and given the WE Local Collegiate Guiding Star Award. She will be accepting her award in London. The entire SWE family is happy for her achievement and thanks to Haley for bringing the award home. We would like to thank Haley’s husband, Scott, for joining our event. Also, special thanks to Haritha Yearuva for coordinating this membership event!
