One of Dallas SWE’s pillars of operation is providing meaningful and impactful Professional Development (PD) opportunities to our membership. We host our flagship Annual PD Conference, as well as monthly curated PD events. Our commitment to professional development has contributed to award recognition of our section.
Annual Professional Development Conference
The Dallas Section of the Society of Women Engineers proudly hosts our Annual Professional Development Conference, bringing together nearly 100 professional engineers, students, and tech leaders from across North Texas for a full day of learning, leadership, and connection.
Designed to equip professionals with the tools and connections to advance their careers, the day convenes experts to deliver skill-building sessions, workshops, panels, and keynote talks. The event allows attendees of all career stages to network and it allows our industry sponsors direct engagement with a highly skilled talent pool.
Spring 2027 Professional Development Conference
Planning for our Spring 2027 Professional Development Conference is underway. We encourage you sign up for our newsletter and follow us on our Social Media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Discord) to be the first to learn when volunteer positions and attendee registration opens up!

Monthly Company Seminars
Dallas SWE also hosts monthly Professional Development events with local company sponsors. These events are more curated workshops, seminars or informational talks about various technical topics or focused on soft skills, like leadership development or communication in the workplace. Our members have the opportunity to learn about career opportunities in an informal setting. You see examples of past events here.
