The Rockwell Collins Women’s Forum and Dallas Section of the Society of Women Engineers held a joint event on June 7 at Rockwell Collins in Richardson Texas. The event included a presentation by Uche Maple, Senior Engineering Manager at Rockwell Collins and Dallas SWE Executive Vice President, and a tour of the facility. Uche presented “Turning Obstacles into Opportunities.” Key takeaways included:
- Seek advice from individuals who have expertise in that area and not persons who give their opinions,
- Refrain from making decisions when we are at our lowest point,
- Get a support system that carry you through the rough patches.
Uche ended the talk by providing one simple formula for success, (P+T)*A*A=Success.
