Volunteers Needed – Join Dallas SWE for Girls in Aviation Day @ Women in Aviation International!
Come inspire the next generation of engineers and aviation enthusiasts at WAI-NTX GIAD!
We’re looking for volunteers to help guide students as they build a simple helicopter model while exploring how different aircraft systems (power, rotor, structure, and balance) work together to make flight possible.
📅 Date: Saturday, October 3
🕙 Time: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Flexible volunteer shifts are available.
🚁 Location: National Aviation Education Center, 5657 Mariner Dr., Dallas, TX 75237.
Come help future aviators think like aerospace engineers as they build, troubleshoot, and solve simulated aircraft problems while learning about systems thinking, fault isolation, and engineering design.
